It was a disappointing Friday for West Ham players on International duty.

Fabianksi started for Poland playing all 90 minutes but lost 2-0 to Slovenia in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying Group G at the Stožice Stadium in Ljubljana.

Youngsters Grady Diangana and Nathan Trott were not named in the matchday squad for England’s U21’s as the young lions took on Turkey U21 in the UEFA Euro U21 Championship qualifying Group C at the Izmit Stadium in Izmit.

Robert Snodgrass was again an unused substitute as Scotland played Russia in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying Group I at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

Manuel Lanzini was also an unused substitute in Los Angeles at 3 am on Friday as Argentina played Chile in an international friendly with the match finishing goalless.

Hammer Conor Coventry was the only Hammer to taste International success on Friday as his Republic of Ireland U21’s won 1-0 v Armenia U21 in the UEFA Euro U21 Championship qualifying Group A at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin Ireland. Coventry played all 90 minutes and had an impact on the game.
