Fabianski update

|

Lukasz Fabianski is 90 per cent certain to return for the Irons against Leeds a week on Monday.

The No 1 was unable to take his place between the posts at Manchester City  yesterday after suffering an injury to his arm in training ahead of the game.

But he is fully expected to be back for the visit of the 10th placed Yorkshire outfit who have had a fine first Premier League season  and are currently on 35 points.

Describing Fab’s injury as ‘minor,’ CandH were told by a training ground source that the Polish international is 90 per cent certain to make his return against Marcelo Bielsa’s team.

And our exclusive blogger,  former defender and Hammers penalty taker supreme, Ray Stewart made his position very clear on the keeper’s absence in his post match comments.

‘Tonka’ declared that he believes we would have taken at least a point from the game had Fab been available as he was convinced he would have come to collect the cross which resulted in the first City goal.
