It seems the Nuno Espírito Santo is about to get his wish and West Ham are about to get their next signing over the line, with Nils Koppen starting to earn his crust and deliver the re-inforcements needed for the Irons’ threadbare squad.
What we wrote of as a rumour – from a source unfamiliar and reported with ‘caution’ yesterday does appear to be of considerable substance as the football world’s favourite ‘in the know’ Fabrizio Romano signalled that West Ham advance towards their next signing of winger Manor Solomon.:

Whilst it is not yet the triumphant’ Here we go‘ that signals a done deal, it is heading that way. As our own report suggested yesterday, the sticking point of the add-on payment should West Ham be successful in returning to the Premeir League appears to have been overcome.
Apparently the £5 million transfer fee could increase if West Ham are promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season, in which case it would reach just under £10 million—about half of what Tottenham had hoped to sell Solomon for.
Hopefully there’s no last-minute hitch and Solomon gets announced as a West Ham player in the next couple of days.
