“Transfer to West Ham finalised’ claim after impasse broken

Only 24 hours since one of West Ham’s key transfers was deemed ‘stalled’, it seems there are claims that the block between the two clubs has been overcome and the player will be signing ‘tomorrow’.

Exciting if true, but cautious Hammers fans know only too well not to get carried away until the player is pictured in the shirt.

Well known is the Irons’ need for a new winger to replace Crysencio Summerville and if the report is true, it is going to be Manor Solomon who pulls on the Claret and Blue shirt to take Summerville’s place next season.

Spurs' Manor Solomon

Tottenham’s winger is a West Ham top target – reportedly the ‘deal is done’

According to ynetnews.com, (not a source we’ve used before, to be honest..) agreement between the Hammers and Tottenham has now been reached:

Soccer: Manor Solomon’s Transfer to West Ham Finalized

“Israeli national team star Manor Solomon will transfer tomorrow to West Ham from England’s second division, thus ending his three-year tenure at Tottenham.

The transfer fee could increase if West Ham is promoted to the Premier League at the end of the season, in which case it would reach just under £10 million—about half of what Tottenham had hoped to sell Solomon for.

The last report from a ‘recognised’ source – yesterday’s NYTimes – suggested that the talks were ‘currently off for financial reasons‘ so if the two clubs have reached agreement it’ll trickle through to the mainstream media soon enough. I’d just treat it as a ‘rumour’ for now.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.

Admin – you gotta ask yourselves how a politically motivated statement such as the one from Tom is permitted on a football website?

Tom, do you happen to be on talking terms with Manor? You appear to be the judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to an individual and their career.

I have been a West Ham fan for 55 years. My all time Hammers hero is Billy Bonds.
I’m disgusted that given the Genocide that has happended in Gaza, that the Hammers are planning to buy an Israeli player, Manor Solomon

Given that Israel is still carrying out a Genocide against Palestinians, West ham should not be buying Israeli players, including players such as Manor Solomon, who has served in the Israeli army. The number of Palestinian athletes killed by Israel since October 2023 to 1,009 including at least 567 footballers. This should not happen. Israel should also be kicked out of FIFA.

Freedom and Justice for all people, Free Palestine.
