Jermain Defoe has been linked to the club as a January target at around £6 million.

O Signing Defoe isn’t moving backwards. He scores goals and he isn’t injured – that’s two improvements on where we are now.

I never understood all the stuff about former players etc, yes what he did was tactless but he was a kid, I never booed him or Ince or Lampard or any of the x players, as far as I am concerned they did the business when they played for us and if they made mistakes about how they left so be it, we all make mistakes and have probably done things if we had our time again we would do differently. On the same not I think it is ridiculous when many players if they score against a former club they don’t celebrate it as a goal, unless the team is about to go down or is in real trouble because of it I think they should just celebrate after all they have made a difference to the game so why shouldn’t they enjoy it, imho and I know its not an opinion shared by all it’s childish when they don’t celebrate for me its a sort of political correctness gone mad, they are obviously happy they scored a goal but they have to fake that they shouldn’t enjoy it. Anyway enough of my rambling we have next to no chance of signing Defore so it’s a moot point but COYI for the Swansea and Leicester games !!!!

Bring him back. He’s prolific wherever he goes. I don’t care about the past. What I do care about is what happens in the next 5 months and I think he would make a massive difference. End of.
Whether you like or not Norfolk the team isn’t exactly firing on all cylinders at the mo and this season will be a struggle. We need him instead of another foreign flop. And I struggled to understand your message. Try spell check. It’s been about a while…… If you’re that upset, don’t come to matches. Defoe is hardly scum. He didn’t burgle a house or mug an old lady…… He did what any other player would do and what Payet will do at some point this year.
