Former England boss shock at Moyes terms

|

HoddleGlenn Hoddle’s job these days is to do with nothing else but giving opinions so it’s hardly surprising to hear him giving his view of the David Moyes appointment.

The former England boss and ITV pundit has told Yahoo Sports In on Goal that he is totally shocked the Hammers have only offered the Scot a six month deal.

The 60 year old has not even been offered that since he left Wolves back in 2006 but said: “If I was Moyes, I would have wanted more continuity than that.”

He added: ” West Ham fans – they aren’t happy with David Moyes but it is a six-month deal and I can’t get my head around that.

“Soon as he starts winning football matches, West Ham fans will change their minds. It’s all about results. If they start seeing a difference, they’ll go ‘hang on a minute, he might be the man’.

And talking of Sunday’s match at Vicarage Road he said: “He’ll go in there and try to get a point, and slowly build on something.”
