Former West Ham boss in Moyes replacement frame

|

By Simon Leyland

According to a report in the Guardian and confirmed to CandH it appears the West Ham board are considering the “Super Slav” as an interim replacement for David Moyes.

Slaven Bilic was manager of the Hammers from the summer of 2015 and gave us all some really memorable moments before the wheels fell off and subsequently getting sacked in 2017.

It goes without saying that someone like Bilic would give a much- needed bounce back into the club. The two managers styles are polar opposites, and perhaps that is why the Croatian is being looked at as someone who could make a much needed short-term impact at the London Stadium.

If we lose our next two games against Arsenal and Bournemouth. There would be an even greater probability that Bilic will get the call.

I don`t know though, as we are leaving it very late considering the few games we have left to start swapping and changing.

But we shall see.

I can’t believe our board would do that. It would be the kind of backward thinking that sees Frank Lampard as the manager of Chelsea two years after they sacked him when they should have stuck by Graham Potter. Just as we should stick by David Moyes.
