Pablo Fornals can’t wait for the Europa League draw on Friday!

The Hammers won their group and have subsequently advanced straight into the round of 16 of the competition.

The second legs of the knockout play-off round will be played on Thursday evening, and there are a number of huge clubs who could well be in the hat to take on the Irons.

Barcelona, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, Atalanta, Sevilla, Rangers and RB Leipzig are all still in the competition, meaning that they all have the potential to be on their way to the London Stadium in the next round.

And Fornals cannot wait to see which club comes out of the hat to face the Irons in the next round.

He told the club’s official website“We are there right now because we did really well in the group stages.

“We are as excited as all of the supporters and just waiting to know who we will play against.”

There are four teams from Spain who are currently in the competition – Barcelona, Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis – and Fornals admits he would love to play in his native country wearing the claret and blue shirt.

He added: “In would be unbelievable to play in Spain in the West Ham shirt.  In the case that we would have to go to Seville, I hope it will be at the end of the season because that would mean we’re playing in a final!”
