Friends walk in memory of lost Hammer

|
A group of ten Essex-based Hammers fans (mostly West Ham season ticket holders) will be walking from Chelmsford to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.  Their JustGiving page is:   https://www.justgiving.com/teams/weRhammeringprostatecancer
They are progressing well towards their initial £2,500 fundraising target..

On Saturday 5th October the team of Essex-based Hammers fans will be walking a 26-mile route, they are calling the West Ham Way, from Chelmsford to the London Stadium.

We are UNITED in all having family members, friends and fellow Hammers whose lives have suffered, or been lost to, Prostate Cancer.

Prostate Cancer is a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes in the UK.

In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.

The friends will walk in honour from the home of a life-long Hammer who they lost last September to Prostate cancer.
