The technical director of course ensured via talks that Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus joined from Ajax when numerous other clubs were showing an interest and can now be fully expected to become involved in sweet talking the Hammers exciting teenage striking prospect.

David Moyes has already waded in declaring that agents have been a problem and insisting the youngster doesn’t spoil a great looking future by moving on given how it has failed to work for the likes of Harrison Ashby, Sonny Perkins and various others.
