David Gold has urged Hammers fans to “keep the faith” after suffering the awful pain of Sunday afternoon!
The co-chairman – a regular on Twitter – has noticed the first rumblings of discontent with the manager’s tactics and said: “We all have our views and it is the manager who will have to sort things out with Dimitri Payet unavailable.
Speaking exclusively to ClaretandHugh he said”Obviously like every manager he has issues to deal with and it’s not easy but what we can do is to support him and the team in a very difficult situation.

“He’s a very good manager and we are all going to be very interested in ho he sets up the the team up against West Brom at the weekend.
“The pain of the weekend was awful for everybody but we regroup. We move on and I appeal to all supporters to keep the faith.”
He added: “Sunday was awful. Spurs were at the top of their game and were the better team on the day but that is not to say they are going to be over the remainder of the season.”

I think that’s the real question about all this. Why did Bilic set the team up this way and why is he playing Carroll when it was he himself that built this team not be dependant on a supergoalscoring striker, which as he said so many times during the transfer window, are virtually impossible to find unles you’ve got a hundred million to spare.
If he is not being pressured to play Carroll(about the only reason that makes some kind of sense) ! then he needs to take a long look in the mirror, because anyone can see our problem.
I don’t get to see many games living in Hobart and refusing to fund the Murdoch empire by getting foxtel. First thing Sunday or Monday morning is going online to check out the score. I’ve been in a bad mood all week.
