Bowen fears unfounded

Moyes: Bowen gets better and better

Fears that Jarrod Bowen may be unfit for the game in Freiburg this week and Newcastle next weekend look unfounded.

Bowen was carrying a slight limp as he was subbed in extra time yesterday per hammers News but our sources claim there in no problem with the player.

He is unlikely to be involved in the Europa League match anyway as David Moyes again rings the changes within the squad.

Bowen just a knock

We were told earlier that the player had suffered no more than a knock during the game against Sheffield United and that there was very little problem that a couple of days rest wouldn’t put right.

He was again on the score sheet yesterday for his fifth goal of the season and had David Moyes drooling over his performance with the manager claiming that he was becoming a better and better player.

He said: ” He’s sharp, he’s quick, he’s a threat. It was a lovely finish today but more importantly his all-round game has got much better.”

Thankfully our information is that he will be fine for the Newcastle game.
