Hammer Coufal sends Southgate a message

Vladimir Coufal has sent Gareth Southgate a message on the England futures of Jarrod Bowen and James Ward-Prowse.

Coufal sends Southgate a message

He has told the Three Lions boss both should be in his squad for the Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy and a friendly meeting with Australia later this week.

Both were overlooked during the last set of internationals but Coufal has his fingers crossed that isn’t the case when Southgate’s squad is announced later this week.

Bowen’s form has been sensational with five goals in seven Premier League matches and Ward-Prowse has produced a magical start to life with his new club after the move from Southampton.

The midfielder has been seen as a possible inclusion for a long time but the squad has several top class midfielders which has made it difficult while Bowen has been ignored since a maiden call-up for the run of Nations League games back last  summer

Southgate gets a Coufal message

“Our connection is almost three years of playing together. It’s really good. We know what to expect from each other.”
