Hammer Andriy Yarmolenko remains a transfer target for Fenerbahce according to a report from Sabah.
The 31-year-old has just one year remaining on his deal at the London Stadium and could follow Felipe Anderson out of the door this summer.
According to Pedro Almeida, Dynamo Kyiv are also keen to be reunited with the 31-year-old and want to welcome the forward back to the Ukrainian Premier League.
While he had a great Euro 2020 for Ukraine with two goals and two assists there remains a doubt about how he would fit into David Moyes plans next season.
One of the challenges is his wages, while he is not thought to earn the £115,000 per week often reported he remains one of the Hammers highest earners and his departure could slash £5m off the wage bill over the next year.
So far West Ham has yet to receive any formal bids or inquires for Yarmoleenko but would certainly consider them if they were made.
100% should be sold, no value for money in terms of performances v salary. He is a good player but not fully suited for the PL. I am more sorry to see Anderson leave but that’s just me. I would also be looking at selling Fredericks, Randolph (if we sign a keeper), Reid. That would leave a senior squad of 17 players (really small squad), we would really need to be working with a 24 man squad with all the competitions so I believe we need a minimum of 5 new first team signings and then supplement this with 2-4 younger players like Aves, Baptiste, Mipo.
I agree that Yarmo is not really suited to PL
If we can get a reasonable fee for him, that will free up his wages to be used elsewhere, maybe to get J Lingz in.
Regarding Anderson, I just dont know whats happened to him. Its a great shame, hell of skill there but I dont think he likes the hard tackles too much.
Lets hope he can find himself again in Italy.
