Hammer cup tie date announced

|

West Ham’s Carabao Cup fourth round fixture against Everton will take place on Wednesday 30th September with a kick-off time of 7.45 pm (BST).

The Goodison Park clash has not been chosen to be shown live on UK television but will be broadcast to a UK audience via the EFL’s Carabao Cup Player costing £10 pay per view.

Everton overcame League One Fleetwood Town 5-2 on Wednesday night to book their place in the last-16, having knocked out League Two Salford City in round two.

West Ham beat League One opposition Charlton Athletic 3-1 and Hull City 5-1 to reach round four of the League cup.

Yesterday David Sullivan announced on Talksport that there was no prize money or gate money in the competition and that it would cost the Hammers £50,000 to fly the team up to Merseyside with an overnight stay.
