The Hammers under 18s will meet either Preston North End  or Southampton on April 8 with  Arsenal meeting either Manchester City or Oxford United on the same evening in the semi finals of the FA Youth Cup.

The young Gooners  this evening joined the Irons under 18s in the last four of the competition after a fierce battle against Cambridge United.

The young Ginners had to battle all the way to beat the visitors who took a 2-1 lead either side of half time.

Ethan Nwaneri’s goal gave Arsenal their early advantage but United roared back until Amario Cozier-Duberry continued his run of scoring in every round so far by equalising from the penalty spot.

Then in stoppage-time, Michal Rosiak popped up with a last-gasp winner to secure a semi-final spot – to the joy of former Jack Wilshere, his coaching staff and the large contingent of our supporters watching on in the stands.

The Hammers had been involved in a thriller last night to game their place in the last four beating Norwich City’s youngster 4-2 in extra time.
