David Moyes has dropped more than a heavy hint that Grady Diangana will be staying with the Irons next season.

Despite their promotion under Slaven Bilic – and the clear desire to keep Grady at the Baggies – it sounds very much as though David Moyes has made up his mind the youngster is going nowhere.

West Ham fans have made it consistently clear they want to winger to remain at the London Stadium and Moyes has indicated that he shares their enthusiasm for the player.

Grady has the big advantage of being able to play on both sides of midfield but favours the left where the Irons have regularly had problems this season.

Moyes is known to be looking in the Championship and Grady  –  has helped the black country outfit back to the Premier League  and now looks certain to remain at the Hammers when the new season gets underway.

Moyes is reported in the Romford Recorder as saying:“I’m really pleased for him because to be successful and win in the Championship, as we all know the Championship is a real tough league, so to play the game and be a winner in football, I’m pleased for him.”

“It will give him the confidence of being in a winning side, scoring, and playing well so I’m looking forward to getting him back.”

“I think he had his best part of last season in the first half up until lockdown as he picked up a hamstring injury. We congratulate him on his success.”

Really hope we keep him – a really good young player brought through and capable – why sell him to hope to buy someone like him? Love seeing our young talent beak through. COYI

Diangana will bring speed, skill and work ethic to the left side. Johnson at right back. What was the name of the former academy player who left the club?

Makes you wonder why we are looking at Said Benrahma and Eberechi Eze?
All 3 players are very similar int he position they play in, age, size and stats.
Grady Diangana may even be the better prospect. I definitely feel Grady should be given the opportunity to prove himself. I think he could be the real deal.
With very limited resources, maybe we should be looking at other players in other positions.
