Our 4-1 loss to Swansea City at the last Saturday at the Boleyn Ground has virtually written off any chance of a top four finish and Champions League, although it is mathematically possible, but we have everything to fight for to get a Europa League place.
Southampton are breathing down our necks just two points behind us in seventh place and a slip up against Manchester United on Tuesday evening and/or Stoke away could let them leap-frog us into sixth place and guaranteed Europa league football. Ironically, it will be Spurs that can do us a favour by beating the Saints tomorrow at White Hart Lane.
Liverpool are also not completely out the equation as they have a game in hand on West Ham so could end up one point behind us if they beat Watford tomorrow at Anfield. So tomorrow we will want Watford and Spurs to both win to keep our European dream alive.
Fifth place also looks very difficult now after Manchester United beat Norwich today, they are now four points above us so a win on Tuesday is no longer enough to leap-frog them. They face Bournemouth at Old Trafford for their last game of the season while we have the tricky away trip to Stoke. I know who I would prefer.
If Southampton do nick our sixth Premier League place we will need to wait anxiously for the result of the FA Cup. A win for Manchester United would mean Europa league places would go down to seventh position but let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
It would be a disappointing end to our season if the unthinkable happens and we think ourselves in eighth position with no chance of Europe.
What will be,will be.I have still thoroughly enjoyed this season no matter where we finish.Yes 8th will be a disappoint in missing out on Europe but before the season had started I would have taken 8th place as a finishing position definitely.Considering some pundits & our own fans were telling us to be careful what we wished for then I am more than happy with what we have done.
We will still get into the Europa League no problem.I have faith.My pants are still very dry,lol

Still in with a chance of Europe if we get on with it instead of thinking about it . After the great season we have had it would be a great shame to fail at the final hurdle . We cannot afford another awful performance likes today’s . We took Swansea for granted and paid the price .
The team needs to turn up and produce a performance the old ground deserves win or loose,
The loanees who owe our club nothing and will not be here next season need leaving out completely as their performances are terrible,
Slav needs to play at least 4 defenders as our luck ran out yesterday and Manure will destroy us if we carry on playing players out of position ( not Antonio fault )
And club Parties should be held when the season is finished,
