Hammers face serious window issues

The  silly season is becoming sillier than ever with media sites and the mainstream media forgetting that the Hammers face one serious window issue.

Already I have seen numerous non British players raised as serious transfer prospects to the Hammers which really aren’t going to happen. The Hammers made it clear to Claret and Hugh several a weeks ago that home raised players will need to be bought with the club so short of them.

Currently the first team contains just pf them in James Ward Prowse, Michael Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Danny Ings on a relatively regular basis forcing the club to include youngsters to make up the squad numbers required under Premier League regulations. These include Conor Coventry, Jacob Knightbridge, Ollie Scarles, Lewis Orford, Dan Chesters and a number of others.

Thus the over regular mentions of overseas plyers as being Hammers targets should be taken with a huge pinch of salt and it seems more likely – should a suitable striker be found this winter 0 he will come from the Championship as a British born and raised individual.
