West Ham fans have sent a message to the board that they want to see Lazio as the club’s prestige pre-season’s opponents at the London Stadium.
ClaretandHugh has learned that various clubs are under consideration for the pre-season opener with Lazio, PSG, Sevilla, Lyon and Monaco the favoured ones.
And we polled our followers to try to discover which of the possible opponents they woulds prefer to see at the stadium ahead of the big Premier League kick off.
And it was Felipe Anderson’s former club which is currently being heavily favoured as the Hammers look to go into the next season under Manuel Pellegrini with top class visitors arriving at the LS.
Currrently with nearly 1500 having voted, 788 have gone for Lazio (54.2 pc of the vote), with Paris St Germain in second place with 456 opting for them (31 per appx).
Seville have just 101 votes (6.95 pc), Lyon 66 (3.85) and Monaco 3.64 of the vote with 53 .
