Hammers first team ratings so far

|

So here we are virtually halfway through the season and in total 22 players have appeared in the Hammers first team this season. Here’s our Hammers first team ratings so far

Areola: Excellent first season as the No 1 keeper 7

Fabianski: Areola’s wrist injury saw him return at Premier League level and nearly as good as ever. Good to see him sign a new deal.

Coufal: Bearing in mind the modest price we paid for him, the Czech has been an outstanding addition. Just wish he had more potent crosses 7

Hammers first team ratings so far

Zouma: At his best excellent but his inability to play two games a week is an issue 6

Aguerd: Never been sure about him. Excellent and a great passer but prone to boobs and loss of form 6

Mavropanos: Probably too early to make a seriously considered judgement, Great goal against Arsenal but a costly own goal at Brentford and some troublesome passing in other games 5

Oggy: Absolutely outstanding against the Gooners and although the odd error in previous games still has stuff to offer 6

Cresswell: So few games – 3

Johnson: Same 4

West Ham ratings so far

Paqueta: Absolutely outstanding in terms of creativity and work rate 9

Soucek; The goals are stating to flow again having been moved further forward. Sometimes listless in midfield 6

Ward-Prowse: The very best of Moyes’ buys from set pieces to midfield aggression 8

Alvarez: Superb replacement for Rice. Makes things tick along 9

Kudus. Brilliant brilliant buy. Will be so missed during Afcon 10

Bowen: Jarrod the total steal at £20 odd million, Magnificent 10

Fornals: Mediocre on his odd appearances 5

Antonio: Well out of form all season and then injured 3

Cornet: Needs games No rating

Ings: Nothing to say 1 ( and that’s being kind)

Benrahma: Time to sell him. Less than average on most appearances and so incredibly inconsistent 3

Mubama: Given little chance to impress – another seeking games 4

Kehrer: Looks set to be sold – not a factor on the season 2
