Hammers forgotten man waits on new deal

West Ham forgotten man Divin Mubama is still waiting for a new contract.

The striker’s agent has been in talks with the club for some time but the youngster’s form when he has appeared in the first team is not encouraging the club to offer him anything like he wants.

We understand the 19 year old wants the same pay level as first team regulars and there is no chance of that happening.

He has made five appearances in the Premier League, failing to score in any of them but assisting with a goal at Burnley when Mo Kudus turned the game on its head with the Clarets leading before we collected the three points with a 2-1 win.

He is out of contract at the end of the season and it now very much remains to be seen whether he can persuade the club into offering him a new deal.
