Hammers hold “positive” talks for La Liga player

|

Sky Sports are claiming that positive talks have been held  between West Ham United and Real Betis for the signing of Luiz Felipe.

The Irons have been reported to be in advanced negotiations with the La Liga club for the player which would allegedly see the Spanish outfit make a hefty profit given that the centre back arrived at the club on on a  free just last summer.

And Sky Sports now say the Hammers are in continuing talks for his signature and that positive discussions over the fee and payment structure are proceeding well.

The Mirror has also declared we were looking to sign both Felipe and Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria although a Hammers source has told CandH that we are only interested in a possible loan for the Juve star.

He refused to make a definitive comment on Felipe saying only that right now we are looking at between 10 and 20 names. Felipe made 22 La Liga starts for Betis last season

I do not know anything bout this player except he has a reputation for getting cards. That alone would raise major question marks. I see Moyes wants to buy ward prowse but 35m for a 29 year old, can see no value there and I dont rate him as a player outside set pieces- very uninspiring signing. Why would you sign him instead of scott !!! I also watched the friendly last night and I thought Fornals was outstanding. If Moyes could cop on and play him down the middle we’d have a serious player..
