Hammers horror opening facing Spurs

|

What an irony!

It seems the north London enemy Spurs are going to find themselves in precisely the same situation as West Ham were at the beginning of this season in a few months time.

A report in The Independent – which is usually very reliable – claims that the Spuds are set to play the first ‘three or four’ games of the next PL season away from home.

The final touches to their new place will be applied during the opening period of the new season which will force them to go on the road.

It means that their new stadium will be in September 2018, rather than on the opening day of 11 August.

The report says chairman Daniel Levy told a meeting with the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust  that Spurs were “likely” to request to play the “first few matches” of next season away.

Let’s hope it turns out as badly for them as it did us!

Agree with the sentiments Hugh and hopefully the result !!! I actually thought our three away games we should have had 4 – 6 points from but Bilic didn’t prepare the team properly for and thus we got what he deserved.
