Hammers injured duo update

|

Arthur Masuaku looks set to miss the remaining two games of the season.

The DC Congo international – having had surgery on his knee – has made only two appearances since.

They were against Wolves in the away win before he was again injured with a recurrence of the formerĀ  injury against Leicester City.

And the thinking among the club’s medical staff is that it may now be as well for the left sided midfielder to have a thorough rest over the summer and come back fully fit.

Manu Lanzini meanwhile may well be back with the squad at West Brom next weekend after sustaining an injury at the top of his thigh.

He has also been feeling a groin niggle but has a chance of shaking the injuries off before the end of the campaign.

And despite all the suggestions that he will be available for transfer this summer David Moyes has revealed recently that has never been in his mind and doesn’t want to lose the midfielder.
