Hammers injury update ahead of Liverpool

|

Marko Arnautovic has been handed a 25 per cent chance of making it into the team for the game against Liverpool tomorrow night.

But the medics believe that he will almost certainly be 100 per cent fit for the game against Palace at the weekend.

Marko has been receiving treatment on his heavily bruised foot but the reality is there is not a great deal that can be done other than allowing nature to take its course.

We were told this morning by a senior source on e mail that the striker has no better than that 25 per cent chance but he added: “He will be more or less certain for the match against Palace.”

There remains no official word on Aaron Cresswell although Physio Room claims there is only a small doubt about the left back.

Lukasz Fabianski – who took a heavy knock on his arm at Wolves – is fully expected to take his place in tomorrow night’s line-up.

25% of Arnoutovic is about 25% more than he’s given over the last month or so. Can’t wait to offload this mercenary at the end of the season. He is a disruption and his negative body language does nothing for team confidence.

    Well said Hammer580, totally agree.

Anautovic !! . Our European dream has gone , so , just like he didn’t need us , we don’t need Him . We will win enough points to secure Premiership Status anyway . Don’t need that bad influence in the dressing room or on the training grounds . During our games against Wimbledon & Wolves he didn’t show any interest and more or less nobody tried to get him involved . Didn’t pass to him and he didn’t chase anything . Probably best not to play him again and let others with the will to play get on with it and show why he isn’t needed . Really really tired of reading about him . Would rather see others try and fail than see him fail without trying .

Spot on Hammer580/ Kevin. In hindsight should have sold him when the offer was made. His attitude sucks and the decision to keep him could come back to haunt us for the rest of season.

I totally agree with all the above comments…Marko has been a divisive distraction for the team, the manager and the coaching staff and I’m not sure those wounds are easy to heal…it will be interesting to see how the supporters react the next time he plays in a home game because I’m sure a lot of them blame him for the way the team has played with a lack of cohesion in the last 3 games.

Agree with the above 100%. His attitude stinks and, you’d think, if he really cared about the badge he’s kissed plenty of times before, he would at least run around and show some hunger. He has a lot to do to recover from this with us.
