Hammers laugh off Yarmolenko “fiasco” charge

|

Charges that Andriy Yarmolenko’s move to West Ham have become a “fiasco” are being  laughed off by the Hammers.

The strange outburst came from Ukranian Hennadiy Orbu – a 48 year old whose own career included spells at  Bazhanovets, Shaktar, Rotor, Vorskla and Sokol

After noting that Yarmolenko, 28, has yet to start a Premier League game for basement boys West Ham he said: “Everything points to the fact that he will soon return to Dynamo Kiev and we will note the fiasco of his foreign career.

However, closer to the truth is that Yarmolenko played just two games at the end of last season for Borussia Dortmund and is still approaching full fitness.
He has also struggled with thigh and hip troubles but was certainly among the better performers in the match against Wolves.
A Hammers backroom staff source said: ” We are more than happy with Andriy’s input – he looked very lively last weekend and there’s a lot more to come .”

It is a shame if we as fans start letting the negative media stories get to us. I think there are a few players getting used to the pace of PL , I think we will click soon. Rather then some fans slating our own players we should get behind them & support them. If we start being negative like the media it will breed a negative atmosphere which will affect the players. Likewise positive energy & support breeds a positive atmosphere and will assist with confidence. Let’s get behind the team they deserve a chance. COYI ⚒
