Hammers linked to Bundesliga winger

|

Fortuna Dusseldorf’s Benito Raman  is the latest attacking player to be linked with the Irons as the transfer window speculation starts to rage.

We may be two months away from the window but we can expect the gossip to become even more intense as the weeks go by.

One tip we can give you is not to believe too much that comes out of the Turkish media because in particular because after five years of working this site we have yet to see anything of any consequence come to fruition.

The 24 year old Raman – who can play on either wing  but is essentially left sided – has been in and out of the Bundesliga side this season.

However, he has scored four goals and been responsible for three assists and according to SportsBild  has been watched by Hammers scouts this season.

And although Fortuna – currently tenth in the German League – are reluctant to see the player leave, as one of the smaller clubs, would need to consider bids of around €15 million

He has a contract until 2022  but with Felipe Anderson a near untouchable in the Hammers team it would seem there are other priority positions the manager will be looking at first.

Raman himself has admitted in the past that his aim is to join a Premier League club but our assessment is that this one is looking unlikely.
