Hammers lose sponsor

|

Experience Kissimmee has ended its sponsorship of West Ham after following Zoumagate.

The Florida based tourist organisation had said yesterday in a statement they were considering their position following recent events which there is no need to detail again.

Now  comes more news from the group in which they say that “due to recent events” it had also cut sponsorship ties with the team following Adidas’ decision to end its deal with the 27-year-old. prosecuted.  .

Experience Kissimmee said through president and chief executive DT Minich: “As an organisation and community, we welcome visitors and locals alike to join us in celebrating wildlife and nature, now and always. We are proud to work with partners who are accredited, certified and regulated to the highest standards of animal care.”

The cynical may believe that the group has possibly gained as much publicity as a result as they would have done via their association with the club.

Nop doubt more of this Zoumagate stuff will continue to pour upon us but we at CandH will now be concentrating on the football as much as possible with a series of important games now in front of us

I suspect that any action taken by the club in relation to this episode will be heavily dictated by the financial implications rather than any moral / ethical / animal welfare concerns.
