West Ham are weighing up a move for Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng as well as his teammate Alfie Mawson reports Daily Mail.
Ki is out of contract in the summer and is open to a move away. The 28-year-old has made 11 appearances this season and David Moyes sees him as a player who can help West Ham keep possession and screen his back four.
Ki, who has 97 caps for South Korea, is technically good, has an eye for a pass and offers a threat from set-pieces.
Moyes is also a confirmed fan of Swansea’s England U21 international Mawson, who he wanted to sign for Sunderland from Barnsley in August last year.
Swansea are reluctant to sell the 23-year-old defender, who is key to their survival but West Ham may also look to sweeten the deal by including striker Diafra Sakho, who they value at £15million.
I like Mawson but not what we really bead right now have good young CB in Rice maybe in summer go after him. And Ki isn’t really a step up might add pace. Seems Moyes only what’s British players mainly & PL exp.
I also don’t like the idea of giving Sahko like him or not a fit well rounded proven PL striker in his prime to a rival in the table.
Palace & Brighton might be keen too & that would be a mistake him w Zaha & RLC Townsend or Gross.
Sell him to France. Bc I can see us selling him to Swansea or Palace & he starts banging them in.
Palace are looking at Elynousssoui now too Moyes get off the British players & PL exp. This kid is 23yo has pace & 11 assist & 6 goals in 24 apps. Has 24 assists in 64 apps. We need that creativity.
We don’t just need defensive cover we need technique & passing ability badly
So we after several players who are playing for teams in a worst situation than us.Typiical
And if we go down clubs will be after Masouaku, Sakho, Rice, Antonio etc. A bad team isn’t all bad individuals. Personally I would look outside the Prem.
