West Ham’s defensive midfield partnership of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek currently carry the highest combined value in the Premier League .
Transfermarkt which tends to under value players values Hammer Rice at £72m while his partner Soucek is said to be worth £40.5m giving a combined valuation of £112.5m
No other top flight partnership matches or exceeds that combined total currently although if Phillips joins City and partners Rodri they could just surpass them.
Man City’s Rodri is valued is also valued at £72m, Liverpool’s Fabinho at £54m and Kalvin Phillips at £45m
Ruben Neves is priced at £36m with N’Golo Kante while Douglas Luiz is priced at £34m.
The Hammers pair true value in the right market could be around £150m perhaps as much at £200m.
Declan Rice has often been valued up £150m while an in form Tomas Soucek could fetch £50m with the right competition for his signature.
So why would you want to sell either I.e Soucek , needs to go back to being more advanced . We need to add to our squad not make it weaker !
So it begars belief that Moyes is willing to accept £25 mil for Soucek which will surely be a travesty if this happens, switch Soucek & Dec back to their normal roles & surely we will reap the benifits again.
Can’t be easy keeping both happy. 50/50 of the time who goes forward seems fair. Seems like they’re trying to force Soucek into not such a great deal.
Great signing last Monday in Aguerd. Great signing this Monday in Areola. Who are we going to sign next Monday?
If we could could get £200m for Rice and Soucek I’d sell them both!😀
With that in mind it does call into question why if what is reported is true we have not been able to find an agreement on wages with either of them …
