Hammers need a helping hand

|

The handily placed Hammers will be looking for Spurs, Everton and  Manchester City to be beaten this weekend.

With eight points from five games the Irons are in eighth position behind the three teams they need defeated and were that to happen and we win at Leeds we jump into fifth place.

Spurs take on Arsenal on Sunday afternoon whilst Manchester City travel to leaders Chelsea and Everton have a home confrontation against Norwich.

That looks a home win whilst the other two games may well be decent draw bets but whatever the outcome it seems unlikely we can make major progress in terms of league position this weekend,

With Brentford at home next weekend these are games we need to be winning in what is becoming a really crowded bunch of fixtures.

After that we take on Everton (away) and Spurs at home with Euro League matches and the Carabao Cup game against City making it a busy period with – perhaps thankfully – an international break along the way.
