Both Liverpool and West Ham head into this match reeling from disappointing recent form. The Reds were dealt a significant blow in the title race with a 2-0 defeat to Everton, leaving them three points behind leaders Arsenal. Manager Jurgen Klopp even admitted they might need “a crisis at Man City and Arsenal” to have a shot at the title.

The Hammers are in a similar slump, having won just one of their last seven league games. A 5-2 thrashing by Crystal Palace last weekend left them eighth in the table and facing an uphill battle for European qualification.

Despite their struggles, West Ham might take some solace from their historical record against Liverpool. The Reds have never beaten the Hammers three times in a single season under Klopp, although they have won 12 of their last 14 Premier League meetings against them.

West Ham could see the return of star man Jarrod Bowen, while Liverpool will be without several key players due to injury, including Diogo Jota, Thiago Alcantara, and Joel Matip.

The Hammers will be desperate to avoid a third consecutive home defeat, especially against a vulnerable Liverpool side. However, their recent form against the Reds suggests a tough challenge lies ahead.
