Transfer plunder? West Ham  keep hold of Nayef Aguerd

There is a lot of chatter around the internet  surrounding the future of Nayef Aguerd

The 27-year-old centre-back has been a near constant presence in defence since his arrival at West Ham last year from Rennes when fit.

Aguerd is reported to have received offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Liverpool were sniffing around during the recent summer transfer window.

But to no avail as it appears that the defender told his representatives that he had no interest in leaving West Ham.

If is marvellous news as he appears to be happy at the London Stadium and presumably wants to repay the faith David Moyes and the rest of the club have shown in him, particularly when he was he was out for four months due to an ankle injury last season.

At times he has looked to be struggling and has had moments when he has been in trouble but by and large he has looked a very good player indeed.

Good man , Nayef !
