West Ham Ladies are set to replace seven departing players with new arrivals over the next week to ten days!
Last season’s successful squad has been broken up by retirements and transfer but the club insist the departing women will be quickly replaced.
Those on their way or have already left are defender Ria Percival and keeper Becky Spencer, who were at the end of their contracts and joined Spurs, whilst striker Jane Ross has been signed by Manchester United.
Midfielder Brianna Visalli is at the end of her contract and will be released along with winger Rosie Kmita whilst both defender Claire Rafferty and midfielder Lucy Reichardt have retired.
ClaretandHugh thanks the girls for their service, wish them well in the future and look forward to welcoming the new arrivals.
We will be bringing day to day news on the Ladies team as a new feature of the ClaretandHugh coverage from the new season onwards.
Are those the only players to be leaving? Do you know how long existing players contracts are?
