Hammers target ready for the PL

|

Reported Hamers central defensive target Guillermo Maripan has said he wants to play for the Premier League, but is in no rush right now as he has other things on which to focus.

The Irons have been regularly linked with the Alaves defender and the player has now admitted that he is keen to enter the Premier League which with the La Liga outfit ready to sell will come as good news to the club.

He declared that he is ready to make a move the England in the future but is taking part in a major tournament at the moment and is in no hurry to make the switch until his involvement in the Copa America Cup comes to an end.

Goal.com quotes Maripan as saying: “Since I was little, I always liked the Premier League. It’s a great challenge on a personal level. It’s my second season in Europe, I feel very good in Spain, but I would like to go to the Premier League.

“I will decide in the future after the Copa America. Now I’m just thinking about the Copa America.”

Marian has been a regular name on the Hammers radar which has become crowded with midfield operators over the last few weeks.

But his contribution to Alaves’ mid table finish was hugely important and his £12m – £15m price tag is within the Irons budget.
