Hammers target’s move falls through

|

West Ham target Ismaila Sarr looked poised to join Aston Villa but the move has fallen through, according to BBC Sport.

The Watford winger appeared set to move to Villa Park, with Steven Gerrard’s side agreeing to pay around £25m for the winger.

However, the deal has now fallen apart over the structure of payments and the 24-year-old’s personal terms.

Sarr has been watched by the Hammers previously and boss David Moyes is a big fan of the player.

BBC Sport reports that the deal is unlikely to be revived, but Villa are still set to send Kortney Hause to the Championship club on loan.

It leaves Sarr in limbo ahead of the end of the transfer window, as he was previously left out of the Hornets squad in order to finalise the deal.

Sarr has scored 25 goals in 95 games for Watford and there may well be an opportunity now for the Hammers to make a move, should they so wish.

Looks like player and parasite agent wanted more than he is worth. It’s not just GSB who won’t be held to ransom!
