Robert Snodgrass is being tracked by West Ham, Middlesbrough and Sunderland after it emerged he has rejected a bumper new three year deal with Hull City.
Snodgrass is out of contract in the summer and had initially been hoping to return to Scotland by sealing a fairy-tale move to Celtic. The 29-year-old would have been willing to take a huge pay cut in order to help facilitate a deal.
But the Daily Record Sport claims, although Brendan Rodgers has been made aware of the player’s burning ambition to end his career in a green and white shirt, the Celtic boss has shown no interest in offering Snodgrass a passage home.
The Daily Record claims West Ham are in pole position to snap up Snodgrass on a free transfer however the Hull Daily Mail claims Hull City are ready to trigger a one-year extension to Snodgrass’ contract to prevent the midfielder walking away from the club in the summer on a free.
Yeah he signed his contract extension today i read on the beeb sports site 😉
Another winger, no thanks. Our money is needed elsewhere.
West Ham planning for life after Payet maybe?
Snodgrass is very skillful and takes a brilliant free kick!
I’m reading this morning that Hull have triggered the one-year extension clause in his Contract – whatever that means!
