Hammers will not be short of confidence v Arsenal

West Ham visit an Arsenal team that has lost just two games this season in making their way to the top of the Premier League. But the Hammers will not be short of confidence v Arsenal as they head for the Emirates and will be looking to complete a Carabao Cup and League double over Mikel Arteta’s men with another confrontation against Declan Rice in the offing.

Arsenal picked up no further injuries in their visit to Anfield but the Gunners gaffer will be without suspended Kai Havertz who picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Liverpool. Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf), Fabio Vieira (groin), Thomas Partey (muscle) and Jurrien Timber (knee) all continue to be sidelined. David Moyes is expected to have Michail Antonio knee) and Nayef Aguerd (muscle) unavailable for the trip to the Emirates.

The match will be broadcast LIVE on Amazon Prime Video with Amazon offering a 30-day FREE trial for new customers which includes access to watching the game.

They are certainly the outsiders for a game which could give them a colossal boost were they to win but the BBC’s Chris Sutton is sure this one is going the way of the Gooners by a 3-1 margin.
