|

West Ham youngster Nathan Holland has returned to the dlub following the expiration of his loan spell at Oxford United the club have confirmed.

The winger impressed during his spell in League One, appearing 12 times and scoring twice for Karl Robinson’s side – including a stoppage-time equaliser against Newcastle United in the FA Cup. The 21-year-old has enjoyed a breakout 2019/20 campaign, with his eye-catching performances for the West Ham United U23s leading to a senior Premier League debut at Wolverhampton Wanderers in December.

Holland was also named the Premier League 2 Player of the Month for November before he headed out on loan for the second half of the season to get valuable senior EFL experience. “I really enjoyed my time at Oxford United, it was a great experience.” Holland said.

Holland joined West Ham United from Everton in January 2017. The Manchester-born attacker had already been capped by England at U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels prior to joining the Hammers, and has continued his development since moving to east London.

Holland’s ability saw him rewarded with a senior debut in the EFL Cup third-round win over Bolton Wanderers at London Stadium in September 2017.
