Diop: Some great blocks and passes out – the lads is one of the season’s discoveries in the PL 7
Balbuena: The General was always on top of things – no complaints at all 7
Masuaku: Exciting to watch going forward but didn’t lead to a lot today 6
Rice: Great to see him back and as combative as ever in middle of park. Fine performance 8
Noble: Brilliant first goal, great pen, top performance all round 8
Anderson: Some really good stuff including a brilliant clearance tracking back when the Hornets threatened. Very clever stuff going forward 8
Lanzini: He’s slowly getting back to his best but the sharp edge still not quite on his game 7
Antonio: Brilliant stuff, pace, power everything you want – often second best but always came out on top 9
Arnautovic: Another goal but not back to his best although often threatened 7

Zaba: Awful error for Watford goal but made amends with great cross in for the Arnie goal. Very mixed day 6
Wilshere: Nice touches – looked pretty much okay. Fingers crossed 6
Sanchez: Sometimes makes some worrying moves but grew into it 5
I thought Wilshere made a big difference linking up midfield and attack some great movement and passing. Would give him 7 or 8, Fab was solid as a rock, until his goal I would have given him 3 or 4.
Gakd to see gave Antonio a 9! He was amazing tho didn’t get a goal had a hand in 3 the assist great play with Noble, the dribble thru 3 defenders to hit cross bar for Lanzini’s. Then the PEN & got the Red card. He was all.over just caused havoc. I’ve always loved him & so glad we didn’t sell & we shouldn’t. He got way more stick then deserved bc Bilic played injured then no preseason Moyes played injured. MP doesn’t rush back. And tho not technically great his power pace & work rate is great if he & staff work on is shooting like he did when he couldn’t head the ball he would be so good. I think he is good as CF if we had sold to Palace he would be CF.
Happy to see Noble get a brace & Lanzini get a sitter & Arnie finish as well. Diop was great Balbuena too & Rice. So close to clean sheet *** I can see our defence getting better.
Antonio MOTM so good & Wilshere looked good too. Tho I’d rather see Nasri giving one more chance then Sanchez in bench.
Great game great finish 19th place 52pts only thing I don’t like is -3 GD but our defence is def getting better & that wikk continue inotnnext season.
