HT Man City 0 Hammers 0

By Hughie Southon

The Hammers produced one of their really battling first half performance to keep things goal-less after 45 minutes.

They were well organised at the back and gave City very few chances to  go through the middle of a defence which kept it narrow throughout,

We had one half decent chance after Fabianski had made a magnificent one handed save early on whilst owen worked his way down the by line a little later but fired straight at the near post for the keeper to save.

Oggy was doing particularly well at the back, making one fine headed clearance from a cross as City players queued up behind him before City broke  to see a shot hit our upright and fly across the face of goal to safety.

Grealish then broke down the left but missed out when firing wide at the near post, It was a really good and well organised first half for us and if we were to nominate a man of the first 45 it would be Oggy
