If patience is a virtue this Hammer may need loads

|

Manu Lanzini must be wondering when on earth he will get a chance to show us again what he’s got!

With a goal of the month to his name and Felipe Anderson having left on loan, most of us assumed the little Argentine would be at least be making the odd appearance off the bench after that incredible strike against Spurs.

But as yet – nothing …we are still waiting and may have to be more patient yet as David  Moyes isn’t a manager who makes changes for change’s sake. Pellegrini he is not.

And with new signing Said Benrahma making his first very brief appearance at Anfield last weekend the new signing  looks to be in  front of Manu for a call.

It’s really good of course that the manager has apparent options – a position not many before him have enjoyed.

Should he play Haller against Fulham he has two guys waiting in the wings who look the kind of players to produce more impact from the French striker.

In the meantime, Manu must be wondering what on earth he has to do make an appearance or two.

Injuries will no doubt play a part at some stage but after THAT goal I’d really like to see him as part of things again.

I really like Lanzini and went ballistic when his wonder strike hit the back of the net – but I feel that putting him in the starting XI in place of either Fornals or Bowen would be unfair – so I think he just needs to be patient

What does he need to do? How about work harder in practice and play better when he gets a chance. My guess is we will see both him and SB subbed in for cameos.
