Impressive U18s enter Cup knock out rounds

West Ham‘s hugely impressive U18s entered the knock out rounds of the Premier League Cup following a a thumping 5-1 win at Middlesbrough

Lewis Orford found the net on 26 minutes  after Scarles won the ball in midfield before Favour Fawunmi added the second on half time with a magnificent volley.

The second half saw the team in great form to take all three points, producing a clinical attacking display.

Orford – believed by many to be the next big Academy  thing – was again involvedh this time providing the assist from a free kicj which Ezra Mayers poked home  before Fawunmi added his second of the match and finished a neat move to make it 4-0 to West Ham with 55 minutes played.

Dan Rigge then hit the bar and despite a consolation goal through Ajay Matthews on the hour, Jemiah Umolu’s penalty, ten minutes from time, sealed a fabulous win and a place in the knockouts.

West Ham United U18s will face Leicester City next time out at Little Heath Ground on Saturday 2 December. The match will kick-off at 12 noon.
