Iron Ben Johnson’s amazing family connections

|

Any doubts that Ben Johnson will make it through as our No 1 right back  can probably be firmly put to bed by his amazing family connections.

And we can probably expect that right now  he’s having conversations with two of them in particular after making his full debut for the Irons against Watford.

There is clearly much more to come from the young man who has done all his footballing growing up at the academy and under the tender care no doubt of uncle Paul Parker and cousin Ledley King.

After all Parker played for Man United and Engand whilst Ledley was a hugely effecting player at Spurs until his career was cruelly cut short by injury.

Ben – despite a few nervous moments in such a huge game – had a great game against the Hornets and hopefully there’s more to come as we approach hopefully another couple of games before the end of the season.

Well he will probably play both remaining games of this season because we don’t have any replacements, Utd will be all guns blazing after their abject semi-final performance, they reminded me of the way we have often not turned up to a cup game.
