Spanish full-back Juan Miranda is on the verge of a summer transfer, with several Premier League clubs joining the race for his signature.

The 24-year-old’s contract with Real Betis is set to expire, and the La Liga side appears willing to let him go. This has sparked significant interest from England.

Brentford, Crystal Palace, West Ham United, and Wolverhampton Wanderers have all reportedly expressed interest in bringing Miranda to their respective squads.

The competition for Miranda’s services might not be limited to the Premier League. Estadio Deportivo, a Spanish publication, claims that FC Porto from Portugal is currently considered the favourite to land Miranda, even ahead of their domestic rivals Benfica.

The report doesn’t disclose the specific reasons behind Porto’s supposed advantage. In theory, Premier League clubs might be able to offer more financially attractive packages.

Miranda’s season at Betis has been a mixed bag, with 28 appearances. The prospect of playing in the Premier League would undeniably hold considerable appeal for him.

Before making a final decision, Miranda will likely wait to see if the reported interest from Brentford, Crystal Palace, West Ham, and Wolves translates into concrete offers.
