Irons could move on left back

|

West Ham are again being reported today as continuing to have a serious interest in Ryan Manning but with the transfer window remaining open until mid October between English clubs there is no desperation to get a deal done today.

The Queens Park Rangers left back is believed to have been on manager David Moyes’ wish list  for weeks and the club are hopeful they could get their man for around £5 million.

The window for deals  ends on 15th October  and with a two week international break in front of us there is ample time to get a deal done.

Manning has not been a regular starter with the R’s and with him heading into the last 12 months of his contract and manager Mark Warburton admitting their is interest this one still looks live.

The ex-Republic of Ireland Under-21 international converted into a full-back last season and impressed for Mark Warburton’s side. He has been heavily linked with a move away this summer.

  • West Ham Fan No 32 says:

He is not a defender we have Arthur that is a better option as a wing back that can’t defend.

  • Bev says:

No there is not ample time to sign efl players despite the 14 th Oct deadline. Teams are making moves now. Tottenham are making a move for Joe Rodon from Swansea now so if he was one of our targets it’s now too late.
