Irons edge towards striker deal

|

valenciaLazio and Swansea are still haggling with the Irons over a deal for Enner Valencia.

The Mirror is reporting the story we brought you here last week this morning claiming the Italians see him as a replacement for Miroslav Klose.

However, as we revealed the Serie A outfit are only keen on a loan deal and sources close to the talks have told CandH that a permanent deal is the ony issue the Hammers will require.

As a result Swansea may be edging ahead in the tug of ar for the Ecuadorian as we understand  the Welsh club have offered £8 million up front with various add ons.

Lazio will need to make a heavy revision of their terms if they are to be sucessful as thus far they have only made a provisional offer of a £1.5 million loan fee and an £8m price at the end of the season.

That is of no practical value to the Hammers who want as close to the £12 million they paid as they can get and are currently looking closely at Swansea’s offer.

Joy a bad swap Yedder for Valencia ( in value )
Enner is more like a winger then out,out ,forward and Tore now has that covered,
Yedder is more like Sak and that’s what we need,
2 season is long enough to prove yourself,Payet,Lanzini and Antonio did it in one so did Sak,

He can’t hack it in the prem Kevin !
He needs to move abroad , I think Italy is a bad move for him as well ??
    Slav doesn’t want him !
Cellari and yedder could be the boys coming in , yedder is a better player than Valencia if the videos are to go by , and he’s cheap ? 8.5 mill . Right up Dave’s ally .

Why are we offloading Valencia anyway ? Give him a better contract and keep him .
Happy the Tevez situation is dead and buried . Didn’t want to see him back in the first place.
Scored 7 goals , so what ( no great shakes ) He also caused us nothing but problems .

Lol Kevin… honestly I think Tevez would still make the difference, but his wages are too high and he’s not a young guy… “he also caused us nothing than problems” … are you serious??? Lol 😉

Yes that is a little naughty I thought I could sniff out these click bait headlines that everyone uses these days but was fooled by the fact it was C&H. If you can’t beat them join them I guess. As for Valencia surely the lat thing we want to do is offer him more money to stay. I reality I think like most of us he realises his future isn’t at our club indeed not in UK football generally, a good player but in two years has done nothing to who hue can adapt to our style of football. He isn’t a winger yet he has to be played there because inside he is simply knocked off the ball and can’t think quickly enough to use any space he finds. At time you simply have to accept the inevitable and that is he will never adapt.
