Callum Wilson could only make sixth place in our poll

West Ham fans have put Sebastien Haller at the top of their most wanted list of strikers for the new season.

The Eintracht Frankfurt front man is rumoured to be at centre of a €40 million bid from the club and the result of a ClaretandHugh poll shows that he is way out in front as the fans’ favourite.

The poll attracted 4,000 votes from readers of the site and Haller collected 802 votes  ( 20.41 per cent) to be the clear first choice.

Moussa Dembele with 394 votes (10.3 pc) was the second choice with Andrea Bellotti – 394 (7.94) in third.

Salomon Rondon – believed to be on his way to China – came fourth in the poll with 239 votes but Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson could only make it into sixth place  with 214 or just over five per cent of the vote.

The remaining 24 named as possibles collected  around 50 per cent of the vote BETWEEN THEM!

  • Hollywood Hammers says:

So who has been keeping count of how many players we have been linked with ? This is ridiculous. Why can’t we just be linked with no one and then suddenly buy one Instead of giving all the other Prem teams our ideas.

  • Hammersone says:

Surprised so many have even heard of him..never heard or seen haller play.

Unfortunately Hollywood, this is the digital age. Nothing is done without it being rumoured or reported.
I remember, a few seasons ago, when nothing was coming out of the club, everybody moaning because the fans were being kept in the dark.
