It’s a Haller YES and a Soucek NO

|

Hammer Tomas Soucek missed out on the Premier League player of the month award.

The West Ham midfielder missed out to Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes who scored three goals and made four assists to became the first player to win the award four times in a calendar year. Fernandes was also a winner for November showing a bias towards the top four clubs.

No player in the Premier League has won more aerial duels than West Ham’s Tomas Soucek.
According to WyScout the Czech midfielder has won 181 aerial duels winning duels 65% of the time, more than any other Premier Lague player.

In a twist of fate, Former Hammer Sebastian Haller won the December Premier League goal of the month, Haller, after his acrobatic overhead kick secured the Hammers a point against Crystal Palace.

Seb Haller was already in Holland after joining Ajax last week for £20.2m before the December award was made.
